Pare che la Ham abbia letto i primi due capitoli del nuovo di Anita, ancora senza titolo. Qua sotto trovate il riassunto (in inglese però) e notizia notizia...nei primi due capitoli non c'è sesso!
Ritornano Bernardo, Olaf e Edward e il vampiro Vittorio di Incubus dream.

Anita is sitting at her desk at Animator's Inc with a box in front of her that came in the mail. And in the box....is a head.

The return address is Las Vegas. Sooooo...she calls the Vegas PD to let them know to be on the lookout for a headless corpse. But, when she finally gets thru to them....the Chief of LVPD starts grilling her about why she is calling and come to find out....there has been a mass murder in Vegas. The local executioner plus 10 cops were killed by....something.

And...whatever it was left a note on the wall in blood for Anita..."Tell Anita Blake I will be waiting for her."

The Chief grills Anita about the usual stuff....she's a woman, she's pretty, she is sleeping with the monsters, yada yada yada. Anita tells him to get the **** over it and she will be there soon.

She knows it is a trap...but if ya know that going in...you can be prepared.

And prepare she does....this was a rough draft and Laurell is still in the research stage on some of the weaponry....but Anita is coming to Vegas with quite the arsenal.

Gru can give you more details on the "phospherous grenades" and I forget what the other thing is called....minite? Something like that. Apparently it will melt thru anything. And Anita is planning on using it on some Vegas monsters.

And who do we think left the message in blood for Anita....Vittorio. Remember him? The vampire that got away at the end of Incubus Dreams!

What we are not sure of is....Is the Master Vampire of Las Vegas friend or foe? He tells the Chief of LVPD to tell Anita to "come on down, we'll work it out." And Anita goes "Oh really?" SO....not sure what that is all about.

Other things we learned...Anita doesn't call Edward...altho she probably would have....he calls her first and then Bernardo Spotted Horse , Olaf and Edward come to Vegas as Anita's backup team...and they all have badges. Ain't that wild!!!

Larry Kirkland is not in the book yet...200 pages in.

And Crispin the weretiger is apparently going to be Anita's Arduer food in Vegas...or at least that was the impression I got from what Laurell said. She said normally the police don't let you bring your sweeties along on the job....so kinda sounds like Anita is leaving all the men behind on this one. Which should be interesting considering her arduer problem.

Laurell also said she feels she needs to "fix the arduer so Anita can travel better and it is no longer such a problem that interferes with her police work."
(Yes, please....the arduer fix is in! LOVED hearing that!)

Oh-mio-Dio... sta per morire. Oppure sta veramente tanto male. Qualcuno ha controllato che non avesse la febbre??

Ti consiglio di iniziare col leggere tutti i topic che parlano dei libri inediti e tutti i topic sui personaggi, già lì ci sono un bel po' di info

Per quel che ne sappiamo noi il prossimo libro non dovrebbe avere un titolo del genere, perchè non è uno spin-off su un personaggio, ma un altro libro dove Anita va in trasferta fuori da St. Louis...se invece intendevi "Micah", quello è già uscito secoli fa...

Se oltre a sistemare l'ardeur facesse tornare Jean Claude più protagonista (e dubito che lo farà mai) e sistemasse anche quel coglione di Richard (e questo è praticamente impossibile ) allora forse ricomincerei a leggere i suoi libri.

Credo che per Richard FORSE sia prossimo un piccolo passettino avanti come abbiamo ottenuto in questi ultimi due libri ma come sappiamo la Ham è sempre la prima a smentire ogni nostra supposizione e quindi mano a mano che le voci circoleranno potremo ottenere o meno qualk altra possibilità di credenziale sul libro.

Per quando riguarda JC...mi vien la pelle d'oca ogni volta che me lo fa uscire di scena come se potesse essere l'ultima volta che ciò possa avverarsi!!!
